Shawn's family is Irish (Shawn Patrick and Rex Patrick), so we have always celebrated St. Patty's Day...but we took it to a new level this year in Omaha. Due to the fact that this city is primarily Irish Catholic, they do not mess around when it comes to partying it up green style. And who are we to mess with tradition?
They start a week before with a huge parade downtown.
The boys were in awe. And I was in awe of their cuteness.
Oh, by the way...I dyed my hair. When I came home from the salon, Roanin and Rexy both determined that my hair was scary and that I looked like Halloween.
Oh actual St. Patrick's Day, we chilled at home and had a few popcicles...
garnished our food with green ketchup...
did some "green work" in the yard...
